2011 Aquafina MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition as one of the 24 national finalists! Ryan will compete at the National Finals
during MLB All-Star Week in Phoenix, AZ, representing the Boston Red Sox!
More than 600,000 youth participated in over 4,000 competitions that took place across North America. Way to go Ryan!

The Swansea Little League recently hosted the preliminary round of Major League Baseball’s
Pitch Hit and Run competition at the Swansea Little League Complex on Saturday, April 9, 2011. The following
Swansea area youths have all demonstrated excellent pitching, running and hitting skills and will now advance
to the sectional round of competition on Sunday, May 15, 2011 being held in Fairhaven, MA at the Shaw Road Complex:

Congratulations to the above local winners and best of luck in the Sectionals as winners
from this round will have an opportunity to compete at Fenway Park in June. If they win, they will represent the
Red Sox at the MLB All Star game in July. Participants from numerous Massachusetts cities and towns will be in attendance.
Important Information to Note:
- All participants must provide a copy of a valid birth certificate or baptismal record for age verification.
- All participants will compete in all three elements of the competition with all scores starting at zero.
- As a reminder, all girls will use a softball and follow the girl’s softball division guidelines, and all boys will use a baseball and follow the boy’s baseball division guidelines.
- No metal spikes.

- Registration is at 12:30 pm with a 1 pm start.
